Fatherhood – Documentary Movement Theatre

To be or not to be a father? Three men take the stage: an expectant father, a young father and a grandfather. Based on over 50 real-life interviews and told through movement, the performance moves between humour and intimacy, tenderness and chaos. It reveals the gap between the fathers we are and the fathers we always dreamed of becoming.

The Woman Who Mistook Her Husband for a Chair – Dark comedy

A woman comes home to find her husband in an armchair, silently flicking through TV channels. She tries to reach him, but he won’t react. A call from the bank reveals he has gambled away their savings, and they’re bleeding money by the minute. She must snap him out of it and stop the bet, by any means necessary.

Malala – Monodrama

Elmina Theatre

In a classroom in London, seventeen-year-old Malala stands accused before a board marked with a red graffiti. Thus begins a thrilling journey to the Swat Valley in Pakistan to a childhood both colourful and perilous, filled with kites, secret nighttime chats with boys and the fateful day she was shot point blank for simply insisting to go to school.
