A dark comedy about enlightened people. When the immortal leader of a mysterious cult in the south of Israel dies suddenly, her sons – PREQU-EL and SEQU-EL – try to prevent the orphaned community from falling apart. Things get even more complicated when they discover that a documentary film crew has infiltrated the cult. Everything they know about themselves and the world changes.
An engaging, smart and dark satire that, through sophisticated humour and well-timed punchlines, deals with our need for meaning, control, power, belonging, faith, and truth.
It premiered at the Israeli Comedy Festival named after Ephraim Kishon, where it received outstanding critical acclaim.
