Introducing the Israeli Dramatists Website: Your Gateway to Original Israeli Drama.

We’re thrilled to introduce the Israeli Dramatists Website—a nonprofit initiative by the Hanoch Levin Institute of Israeli Drama, Kvutsat Avoda, and the Israeli Playwrights Guild. This site is bilingual (Hebrew and English) and showcases the works of over 175 Israeli playwrights with 500+ plays already cataloged. These works span everything from iconic cornerstones of Israeli drama to fresh premieres and even plays waiting for their first production.  Whether you’re looking for works with specific themes, a particular cast size, or plays that have been translated into other languages, the site’s search engine will help you find the perfect piece.

To give you a closer look at what the site offers, we’ve created 12 short videos spotlighting some of the playwrights featured on the platform. We invite you to visit their pages, explore their works, and discover more voices shaping Israeli theater today.
